Warehousing & Logistics Management

Secure and operate shared warehousing and storage facilities in diaspora hubs for short-term storage, sorting, and consolidation of shipments

Coordinate with in-country logistics partners to ensure safe offloading, processing, and distribution of goods at Liberian ports.

Legal Support & Dispute Resolution

Retain a vetted panel of legal advisors and customs experts to defend member interests in Liberia and abroad.

Offer mediation, arbitration, and advisory support in cases of misclassification, overcharging, seizure, or fraud.

Educate members on compliance requirements, import regulations, and customs documentation.

Provide webinars, workshops, and certification programs on international shipping standards, customs navigation, and trade ethics.

Partner with technical institutes and logistics associations to build professional pathways for Liberians in the shipping industry.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship across generations of diaspora business owners.

Develop and maintain a membership portal and mobile app for dues payment, container booking, policy updates, and alerts.

Create a dynamic shipment tracking system integrated with carriers, ports, and clearinghouses.

Issue periodic reports, newsletters, and bulletins to keep members informed and engaged.

Assist members in applying for trade finance, microloans, or diaspora investment grants to strengthen business operations.

Establish a cooperative fund or revolving loan scheme to empower small-scale or first-time shippers.

Facilitate partnerships with banks and impact investors interested in trade and supply chain innovation in Liberia.

Collect and publish data on container volumes, shipment value (FOB/CIF), fees, and clearance times to inform advocacy and policy design.

Monitor shipping trends and emerging trade opportunities in Liberia and its international corridors.

Document and analyze systemic challenges to propose actionable reforms to stakeholders.
